Hey, it's me and welcome to my second blog for today. I will be reviewing my best RTS(Real Time Strategy) game Starcraft 2. I will be using the abbreviation of SC2 instead of Starcraft 2 as it will save time and the user reading will get it much more easily.
Firstly the graphics of the game. The game was released this year at July 27 2010. Which means that the expected graphics of the game would be really good for this century as it is still 2010. According to my friends and I the graphics of the game is too good that it laggs. So my friends and I play on low detail so that the fps(frames per second) of the game would be high instead of very low. The trailer for SC2 was really appealing to me. It brought the community of gamers appealed to the game. A lot of people were talking about the game before it came out. Blizzard then released a beta before the release so that the community can experience SC2 and give feedback to Blizzard to improve.
The Game-Play of SC2 is the best. It is hard to explain the game-play by words so here is a link on how the game play looks like. I will post the link below at the end of this blog. The link includes a commentary so it will be more interesting. The YouTube video is not owned by me or affiliated with me.
SC2 is built up of campaign, multi-player and single player.(Like SC1). But SC2 has much more installed in the system. The main-menu before you play a game of Starcraft is epic. I would like to congratulate blizzard for making this awesome main-menu as it is user-friendly. I cannot find the current main-menu interface but I found the one when SC2 was in beta.
Overall, Blizzard has drastically improved the game over beta and after the release. Making the game fair and fun! The advantage for this is that when Blizzard makes a patch update. When you start the game. The patch-installer immediately starts downloading the patch. While it is downloading you can see the update that Blizzard has done.

Starcraft 1
Hey, guys whoever is reading this. Obviously this would be my personal review on Starcraft 1. I will be using the abbreviation of SC1 instead of Starcraft1 as it will be easier to understand.
Firstly the graphics of the game. The game was released at about June 2000. Which means that the expected graphics of the game would be low. But the graphics of SC1 in my opinion is very good for it's age. I have been playing SC1 7 years ago. That's when SC1 got famous in my school and my friend's and I loved the game. Until today I still play the game with my friends.
Now the game-play of SC1 is really good as it is a real-time strategy game. You have to think fast as time goes by or else your enemy may get ahead of you in economy and expansions. The jargon list of SC1 is not that long, but a regular player of SC1 would understand it. For example, Macro, Micro, Economy and Expansions. These are the most used words in the SC1 community.
SC1 is built up of campaign, multi-player and single player. In multi-player, you can choose to play with your friends with a LAN option or you can choose to play with people around the area of the world where you bought your game using Battle-net. I use Garena(is a program that allows users to input different games and play them world-wide) to play with people all around the world. There are different types of maps in SC1. There are mini-game maps and normal maps. Mini-game maps are what most people play as it takes your mind of the normal game-play and have fun. From my experience people who want to become better in normal maps play online with normal maps instead of mini games which are *macro and micro intensive*.
Overall, even though this game was published about 10 years ago. The game is fun even if your alone. But even more fun if your friends are good at the game, and you play against them.
